The beast on the bottom left is more eel then shark if you meant that one, but I forgot to mention that earlier. The cropping hides it a bit.Ray Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03430104969464863989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33960072.post-59832269345679525182008-03-05T22:57:00.000-05:002008-03-05T22:57:00.000-05:00loving the last sketch, you should totally do some...loving the last sketch, you should totally do something with it!

and the eyes of the shark for some reason just doesnt seem right to me, hm, must just be me.Adamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11479988449940427132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33960072.post-11832900910563830392008-03-05T08:52:00.000-05:002008-03-05T08:52:00.000-05:00Thanks for commenting Sam! I'll be toning the hands down a little sometime soon, and maybe adding some more elements to the piece (reflective lights or more texture). Sharks are pretty amazing, it's been awhile since I've drawn one.. especially one that isn't hidden in my sketchbook.Ray Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03430104969464863989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33960072.post-85020071066220784472008-03-05T03:29:00.000-05:002008-03-05T03:29:00.000-05:00These are really awesome. Sharks are one of my default things to draw when I want to do something fun because they're so weird looking and so iconic, you can just play with anything inside that silhouette and it'll still read as a shark. The only criticism I have is that maybe the gradient on her fingers could be a little softer...think Tomer Hanuka and you've got my meaning. Real nice piece.Sam Bosmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05305075417164200182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33960072.post-68546312375171800952008-03-04T20:49:00.000-05:002008-03-04T20:49:00.000-05:00Thanks Nat!Thanks Nat!Ray Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03430104969464863989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33960072.post-23886031122330414922008-03-04T09:08:00.000-05:002008-03-04T09:08:00.000-05:00that last sketch is really awesome. i'm so in love...that last sketch is really awesome. i'm so in love with the eyes.nathaliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06312621398087556719noreply@blogger.com
